The way I see it using technology in the classroom is here to stay. I believe students enjoy using computers and learn so much from the tools computers offer. Simple class assignments and projects can be done in little time, which allows time for the student to comprehend any given subject that they are working on.
Communication is also important for students. Help is just an email away to their teacher or classmates. Parents also can come onboard to view what their child is learning and how they can participate in the learning process.
With this said, my philosophy is to open the eyes of my students to the thrill that technology can offer them. I will facilitate opportunities for them to learn new skills using computers and software. Educate students on the proper use of computers so that they will have success and grow with the information they are thought.

I agree that technology is here to stay and we as teachers must integrate technology into our classrooms as much as possible so our students have the exposure. With this exposure students will build their technological skills.
I agree with you totally, I think technology will be around forever and will become a larger part of the classroom. The use of technology will improve parent contributions to the class for sure especially if they can get on the computer and see their child’s work. I also agree that technology makes the work that students are doing more interesting and they will want to do their assignment.
I agree with you that technology is here to stay and also that children enjoy using it to learn. It makes their assignments more interesting to them. Not only can parents view their children's work thanks to technology, but they can also be kept more informed. They are able to go online now and check not just grades but also attendance. This can also be a valuable tool for parents.
I agree with your philosophy whole heartedly! The most important point I feel you made is that you will educate students on the proper use of computers. This is so important to do because there are so many adults even that do not know what to actually do with a computer!
I agree that technology is here to stay and will continue to grow and advance as time goes on. I love some of the technology but some I am just learning. How can I teach something I don't know much about but I will continue to become familiar with new technology and grow with the times.
I love that we can help facilitate students knowledge and learning with technology. Especially those students that don't have access to the computer world outside of the school setting. They get such a sense of inclusion and pride when they can use and know technology as much as their classmates.
I agree with the statement of technology is here to stay. Students feel so much more successful when the can put their hands on what they are learning and are able to grow from it. Technology being internet research or simple emails can make a big difference in what a child may understand. Email is such a great way to communicate with parents and even your students.
I like how you have brought up the fact that parents are able to view what their students are doing in the classroom and participate in the learning process. I really like the fact that as a teacher we will have more ways of communicating with our student's parents than by just a telephone conversation (and lets face it, who has time for a lot of those?). I also like this idea as a potential parent. Communication is a key tool between teachers and parents.
